Things went about as expected today. The doctors ran tests and compared his current numbers and such stuff to what the Minneapolis Hospital had on its records. They really do have shared records among all teh VA hospitals so all they had to do was call it all up on their computers. 
When I got to the hospital this afternoon, he was all dressed and checked out. YAY!!!
