My brother Steve has been going through all the pictures that Mom and Dad had and scanning them into his computer. When he was here last month he gave me a disk full of family photos. Here are a few shots of me in my younger days. Just to give you an idea of who all those other people are, here is a cheat sheet.
- Steve — brother 3 years older than me
- John — brother 3 years younger than me
- Ron and Don - half-brothers 9 years older than me
- Ruby & Hazel — Granddad’s sisters (Dad’s aunts)
Steve, me and Mom.
Granddad holding me. He was about 85 and I was about 1.

Back row: Hazel, Dad, Grandma, Ruby. In front: Steve, me, John. This was taken at Grandma and Grandad’s house in Preston, Mn.

Love, love, love! What a cutie you are!
What is that big box thing in the bottom picture behind Joe doggy?
That’s the freezer.
We always had a big one so that when we had a cow or steer butchered we had a place to put all the meat.
YOU are absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! And I can see both your Mom and Dad in your face, and I love that. <3
You know you’re a petrolhead when…
…one of your friends publishes old photos of themself and you get distracted by the Studebaker in the background of one shot.
1930s sometime I think.
Very a-tractor-ive photos, MJ

Old photos are kinda fun to look at. Each picture I scan into the ‘puter makes me pause and think about when, who, where – all the memories that go with it.
Cute pose for Joe. You’re dad is a very handsome man, so is grandpa. All in all a very good looking family!
