Gardening Advice

It’s spring! Time to put your garden in.  And when those tiny seeds sprout, struggling to put forth their little leaves, you will also find weeds breaking through the soil.  How to tell your precious little twin-leaved seedlings from their evil brethren?  Simple:  pull them all up, laying them carefully on the ground.

If they live, they are weeds.

LOL. I know a few people who work that way. (Says the woman who went to remove some stuff she thought had been killed by frost and didn’t notice until it was out that it was just starting to wake up and come back. >_< )

Well – there went the computer screen. Coffee everywhere! 🙂
I usually try to let things grow a bit more before pulling up. Most of the time I get it right. When in doubt I leave alone for a while then end up digging right next to the plant to get the weed root (not always successfully).
