Moonbeam Love

The yellow moon is rising,
Shining through the trees;
It’s fat and round and smiles down
On everything it sees.
Moonlight’s a reflection
Of sunlight, so they they say.
I think I’ll try that trick myself
To send some love your way:
I’ll open up my heart
And send the moon my love
So it will bounce back down to you
With moonbeams from above.
